Master Gardeners met at the OSU Extension Office on Monday, June 15 at 6 p.m.

The meeting was called to order by president Pat McGilly. Minutes were approved as reported by Michele McMurray. The treasurer’s report was read by Sara Creamer and was approved as well.

Old business consisted of reports from various committees. In the time since the May meeting a successful plant swap and Spring Fling were held at the Farmers Market. The downtown committee reported on clean up at the Sheriff’s Annex.

The MGS attended the Ladies Night Out hosted by JD Equipment and made a short presentation to the attendees. Cook book inventory was discussed and a plan for further distribution was made.

New business brought about the new branding and the update to the t-shirt. Shirts were ordered. On Friday, June 19 MGS have been invited to speak at the Lifestyle Series being hosted by St. Catherine’s and Court House Manor.

From the floor the cell phone committee updated the members; after which the meeting was adjourned.

Following the meeting Jim Essman, vice president, gave a webinar on Phenology and Bees.
