According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 29

Burglary: Douglas Boren reported that unknown person(s) entered his home while he was away for the weekend. Boren reported that when he arrived home, he found his door open and several items missing. A report for burglary was taken.

Domestic Violence: Officers responded to 590 Blackstone St. after receiving a complaint of a verbal dispute in the home. Upon arrival, officers observed Dustin Wilson inside the home restraining a female. Wilson was subsequently arrested and charged with unlawful restraint.

Burglary: Carrie Nelson reported observing three male subjects enter an adjacent residence at 628 E. Temple St. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the subjects. A report for burglary was taken.

Oct. 28

Theft: At 11:52 a.m., Michael Pedrick reported that while moving from one residence to another, unknown person(s) removed an X-Box 1 and Playstation 4 from his belongings.

Criminal Trespass/Drug Paraphernalia: At 3:50 p.m., officers were checking a trespassing complaint at Kroger and located the involved males inside a vehicle in the parking lot. Both were advised of the complaint and identified as David S. Hagler and James A. Ross. Hagler was arrested for the trespassing complaint as he had previously been banned from the business. During his arrest he was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and was also charged with the criminal trespass offense.

Oct. 27

Theft: At 12:06 p.m., Christopher Scott reported that a known male removed a painted pumpkin from the driveway area of his residence. The male, identified as Steven A. Walker, was located and arrested for the offense.

Breaking & Entering: At 1:27 p.m., Bessie Jones reported that unknown person(s) entered her storage unit on South Fayette Street and removed property.

Theft: At 2:08 p.m., an employee of Ace Hardware reported that unknown person(s) entered the store on two separate occasions and concealed merchandise, then departed the store without paying for the items.

Theft: At 2:26 p.m., Bonnie Mathias reported that unknown person(s) removed two wooden rocking chairs from her front yard sometime overnight.

Theft: At 4:17 p.m., an employee of Walmart reported that an unknown male and female selected merchandise and departed out a fire exit without paying for the items.

Disorderly Conduct: At 11:16 p.m., officers were called to an address on Residence Drive for an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. The female, identified as Tiffini M. Ayers, was asked to cease her loud, disruptive behavior, which she failed to do. Ayers was arrested for the offense.

Oct. 26

Theft: At 3:36 p.m., Mitzi Jo Trosper reported the theft of money from her residence by unknown person(s).

Drug Paraphernalia: At 4:18 p.m. during a routine traffic stop, officers located suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia in the possession of two occupants. April Lee Hawkins and Michael A. Newsome were arrested for the offense.

Oct. 25

Domestic Violence: At 10:12 a.m., a woman reported that during an argument with a family or household member, she was physically assaulted. Eric D. Upthegrove was arrested for the offense.

Theft: At 11:27 a.m., an employee of TSC reported that a male selected merchandise and departed the store without paying for the item. Tyler R. Adams was later located and arrested for the offense.

Theft: At 1:36 p.m., Tyler Erskine reported that unknown person(s) removed a gas-powered air compressor and a Honda generator from his Chevrolet pickup truck.

Theft: At 4:04 p.m., Teresa Toller reported that unknown person(s) removed prescription medication from her residence.

Theft: At 8:37 p.m., a woman reported that while sitting in her car in the 100 block of East East Street, an unknown male approached her passenger side window and asked for money. After telling the male she had none, he reached in, grabbed her purse and fled the area on foot.
