According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 24

Theft: At 6:47 p.m., Dustin Wilson reported that unknown person(s) removed property from his residence without his permission.

Theft: At 7:09 p.m., Rosa Delarosa reported that sometime over the past week, unknown person(s) removed property from her residence without her permission.

Oct. 23

Stolen Car: Officers responded to the area of Yeoman Street and Worley Street after receiving information from the OSP Auto Theft Division that a stolen vehicle may be in that area. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and a male subject, identified as Christopher Mills, who was found to be in possession of the vehicle’s keys. Mills was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree felony receiving stolen property.

Oct. 22

Theft: Judy Henize reported that several jewelry items were taken from a lock box that was located in her bedroom closet. Henize said she believes that the theft occurred sometime between Oct. 8 and Oct. 14.

Criminal Damaging: Christina Allen reported that unknown person(s) caused damage to the back door of the home at 419 S. Fayette St. during the overnight hours on Oct. 22.

Oct. 21

Theft: At 11:01 a.m., Renee Queen reported that unknown person(s) removed a black Chevrolet Blazer from where it was parked in the 900 block of Willard Street without her or the owner’s permission.

Domestic Violence: At 3:01 p.m., a woman reported that during an argument, she was physically assaulted by a household or family member. Michael J. Smith was arrested for the offense.

Oct. 20

Theft: At 3:35 p.m., an employee of Walmart reported that a male concealed merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. The male, identified as Daniel K. Ruth, was arrested for the offense.

Oct. 19

Theft: At 12:54 p.m., Theresa Coy reported that while her vehicle was parked on Brown Street, unknown person(s) gained entry and removed her purse.

Oct. 18

Drug Abuse/Drug Abuse Instruments/Drug Paraphernalia: At 6:13 p.m., officers were checking a vehicle at the rear of a residence on South Fayette Street in reference to a complaint of possible drug use. A male, identified as Alex A. Blackburn, was found in the vehicle and was arrested for several bench warrants. He was also found in possession of illegal drugs, drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. A female, identified as Katie M. Creed, was also found with the vehicle and was found to have drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia in her possession. Both were charged accordingly.
