According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 10

Possession of Drug Abuse Instrument: At 11:27 a.m., officers were called to Save-A-Lot on Columbus Avenue in reference to a possible theft. Upon arrival, officers observed an involved male attempt to discard a hypodermic needle. The item was recovered and the male identified as Brandon S. Warner was charged with the offense.

Possession of Drug Abuse Instrument: At 1:39 p.m. during contact with a female in reference to an earlier complaint, an officer observed the female drop a hypodermic needle and attempt to conceal it under her foot. The item was recovered and the female identified as Heather R. Winters was arrested for the offense.

Oct. 8

Possession of Drugs: At 3:58 p.m. while conducting a traffic stop involving Richard A. Cunningham, officers found him to be in possession of drugs. Charges were filed.

Oct. 5

Possession of Drugs/Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments: At 6:23 p.m., officers were checking the area of Washington and Grove Avenue in reference to a suspicious person complaint. Officers located a male, identified as Eric C. Ford. During the contact, officers found him to be in possession of illegal drugs and drug abuse instruments. Ford was arrested for the listed offenses.

Theft: At 9:48 p.m., Rudie Burns reported that unknown person(s) removed an EBT card and personal documents from where they were stored at a residence on Fourth Street.

Oct. 4

Criminal Damaging: At 6:09 p.m., Angela Busa reported that unknown person(s) damaged the left side view mirror on her vehicle while parked at Court House Manor.
