According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Sept. 30

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Drug Paraphernalia: At 3:07 p.m., officers responded along with EMS to an address in the 300 block of Peabody Avenue in reference to a possible drug overdose. The female, identified as Sarah H. Daniels, was found unresponsive. EMS revived her with Narcan and transported her to Fayette ER for further treatment. Drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia were found by officers in Daniels’s possession. Daniels was charged with the listed offenses.

Sept. 29

Theft: At 6:57 p.m., an employee of Walmart reported that a female had concealed merchandise and attempted to depart the store without paying for the items. The female, identified as Jamie L. McElwee, was charged with the offense.

Criminal Damaging: At 8:48 p.m., Jeffery Stawser reported that while his vehicle was parked on Circle Avenue, unknown person(s) spray painted the rear hatch and passenger side of his GMC Terrain.
