Final Wednesday Farm Market set for this week

By Katrina Bush - For the Record-Herald

The Wednesday Fayette County Farm Market runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the TSC parking lot (1650 Columbus Ave.) in Washington C.H. This location provides easy access to vendors and parking. SNAP EBT food benefit cards, Senior Farm Market coupons and credit/debit cards are accepted. Those using the SNAP EBT card for produce receive matching dollar VeggieSNAP tokens ($1 for $1) for additional fruits and vegetables. So,”buy one, get one” for fruit and vegetables, up to $10 EVERY market day.

This Wednesday, Sept. 20 is the final Wednesday Farm Market for the season. The Fayette County Farm Market Association and vendors, send a resounding and heartfelt thank you to all the customers who have made this season a success. We gratefully acknowledge the kind support of the TSC management for making the parking lot available to us, and so to you, each Wednesday this spring and summer.

We hope to see you at the Saturday Farm Market (through Oct. 21). In the meantime, please share with any vendor or at the FCFM website ideas for how we can improve the farm market experience next summer.
