According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Sept. 17

Intoxicated Person: Officers made contact with Timothy D. Lowe after they observed him walking on South Fayette Street appearing to be intoxicated. Lowe, who was unable to care for himself due to his level of intoxication, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication.

Larceny: Frederick Ramey reported that overnight, unknown person(s) entered his vehicle and removed his handicap placard from his glove box.

Drug Overdose: Officers responded to 615 Mclean St. after receiving a complaint of a possible drug overdose. Upon arrival, officers located Skyler Graham unconscious in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. Graham was treated by EMTs and was transported to the emergency room. Charges are pending.

Larceny: Officers responded to United Dairy Farmers in reference to a theft complaint. Upon reviewing the business’s CCTV system, officers observed a known female select a candy bar from the shelf and conceal it. The female then departed without paying. A warrant for theft (first-degree misdemeanor) was issued.

Larceny: Officers made contact with Lindi Giffin and Heather Winters while investigating a drug complaint at Walmart. While speaking to them, officers discovered that both were in possession of stolen merchandise from the store. Both were subsequently taken into custody and charged with theft. Winters received an additional charge of possession of criminal tools.

Sept. 16

Assault: At 3:26 a.m., a woman reported that during an argument with a known male, she was physically assaulted.

Domestic Violence: At 3:32 a.m., a woman reported that during an argument she was physically assaulted by a family or household member. Shawn M. Duty was arrested for the listed offense.

Domestic Violence: At 8:34 a.m., a woman reported she was physically assaulted by a family or household member. Jonathon V. Johnson II was arrested for the offense.

Theft: At 4:16 p.m., an employee of CVS reported that an unknown male attempted to leave the store with merchandise he had concealed and did not pay for. The male was stopped by employees and the merchandise was recovered. The male then fled the area.

Sept. 15

Theft: At 10:19 a.m., Jeffrey Gorman reported that while at Thompson’s Depot on East Elm Street, unknown person(s) took his cell phone from where he had put it down while selecting merchandise from the shelf.

Theft/Misuse of Credit Card: At 11:59 a.m., Johnna Wade reported that unknown person(s) gained access to her debit card information and used it online to purchase merchandise.

Criminal Damaging: At 3:17 p.m., Sue Johnson reported that unknown person(s) caused damage to the front of her 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis.

Breaking & Entering/Theft: At 6:11 p.m., Dew Townsend reported that unknown person(s) gained entry to his storage unit at Woody’s U Lock It on West Temple Street and removed a 2010 Triumph motorcycle.

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Receiving Stolen Property: At 9:36 p.m., officers were called to Rancher’s Roast Beef on South Elm Street to check a suspicious male inside the restroom for a lengthy period of time. During contact with the male, identified as Jeffery A. Taylor II, he was found in possession of drug abuse instruments and a reported stolen credit card. Taylor was charged with the offenses.

Domestic Violence: At 10:44 p.m., a woman reported that a known male came to her residence and during a verbal exchange, he physically assaulted a family or household member. Dashon J. Harris was arrested for the offense.

Robbery: At 11:13 p.m., Vanessa Summers reported that while at the rear of Summers Funeral Home, an unknown male approached her and demanded her purse while threatening her with physical harm. Once the male had the purse, he fled the area on foot.

Sept. 14

Theft/Misuse of Credit Card: At 4:54 p.m., Jennifer Lyons reported that unknown person(s) gained access to her Direct Express credit card and withdrew funds.

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Drug Abuse/Tampering with Evidence/No Operator’s License: At 7:29 p.m. during a routine traffic stop, officers found the driver to be in possession of drug abuse instruments and illegal drugs which the female, identified as Sarah R. Karber, attempted to conceal on her person after being told not to do so. Karber was charged with the listed offenses.

Sept. 13

Theft: At 3:36 p.m., Jeffery Willis reported that unknown person(s) removed various property from his residence.

Burglary: At 3:56 p.m., Tiffany Follrod reported that unknown person(s) gained entry into her residence and removed property.

Theft: At 9:21 p.m., officers were called to Walmart on a theft complaint. Upon arrival officers made contact with the involved female, who was found in possession of merchandise removed from the store without payment. The female, identified as Marilyn L. Elliot, was charged with the listed offense.

Sept. 12

Theft: At 1:36 p.m., Derrick Wade reported that unknown person(s) removed various tools from his garage.

Theft: At 9:11 p.m., Rickie Rutter reported that while his vehicle was parked at Rooster’s on Crossings Drive, unknown person(s) gained entry and removed property.
