According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Sept. 11

Criminal Damaging/Theft: Melissa Wilson reported that a known male subject punctured two tires on her vehicle and took her Samsung tablet without her permission. Wilson was referred to the city solicitor for charges.

Drug Overdose: The police department received a complaint of a male subject passed out in car on the McDonald’s parking lot on South Elm Street. Officers located Richard Campbell in his vehicle and he exhibited signs of drug use. Campbell was subsequently charged with inducing panic and disorderly conduct after refusing medical treatment.

Drugs: Officers made contact with Ethan Lightle at 303 E. Court St. (Pettit’s) after receiving information that he may have used drugs in the restroom. When officers located Lightle, he had a syringe laying at his feet. Lightle was subsequently charged with possession of a drug abuse instrument.

Sept. 8

Criminal Damaging: At 10:47 a.m., Lisa Minzler reported that unknown person(s) broke two windows on the Wilber Price Insurance building, located in the 200 block of South Main Street.

Domestic Violence/Criminal Damaging: At 4:45 p.m., Casey Waits reported that a family or household member made threats of physical harm to her and also damaged the windshield and passenger side rear door of her vehicle. Marky B. Bellar was arrested for the listed offenses.

Aggravated Menacing: At 5:45 p.m., Hunter Ballew reported that a known male made threats of serious physical harm toward him and his family.

Theft: At 10:05 p.m., the Washington C.H. Police Department began investigating the theft of personal property from the fieldhouse that belonged to numerous players on the Washington Senior High football team.
