According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 16

Breaking & Entering/Theft: At 4:26 a.m., the Washington C.H. Police Department began investigating break-ins at the UDF on Columbus Avenue and Flagway #10 on Highland Avenue.

Aug. 15

Theft: At 11:21 a.m., Jennifer Looney reported that sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered her vehicle and removed property.

Aug. 14

Domestic Violence: At 4:37 p.m., a woman reported being assaulted by her boyfriend, Joseph Lyons. Charges were filed.

Aug. 13

Larceny: At 11:22 a.m., Jeffery Huysman of 605 Washington Ave. reported that sometime during the night, someone entered his vehicle and removed several guns and other property.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle: At 5:04 p.m., Jessica Leach of 717 Brown St. reported that Joshua Wilson used her vehicle without her permission. Charges were filed out of the incident.

Assault: At 8:46 p.m., Hunter Ballew of 814 John St. reported being assaulted by Steven A. Walker. Charges were filed.

Aug. 12

Theft: At 1:42 p.m., Douglas Hyer reported that unknown person(s) removed prescription medication from his residence.

Aug. 11

Robbery: At 5:23 p.m., officers were dispatched to Save-A-Lot on Columbus Avenue in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival and after investigation, it was learned that a male identified as Randy D. Nichols had removed property from the store without paying for the items and then threatened employees with physical harm as he fled the store. The male was located and arrested for the offense.

Criminal Damaging: At 8:20 p.m., Ciera Clemmons reported that during an argument, her boyfriend threw a game controller at the television, causing damage. Tyrell M. Knisley was charged with the offense.
