According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 1

Larceny: At 2:45 a.m., Crystal Burlile, of 1028 Center St., reported that someone removed $600 cash from her home.

Theft: At 4:09 p.m., an employee of Murphy’s USA reported that unknown person(s) pumped gas into their vehicle and departed without paying.

Criminal Damaging: At 5:17 p.m., Hanna Geiger reported that during an argument with a known male, damage was done to her vehicle. Jerry R. Hunt was arrested for the offense.

Criminal Damaging: At 8:29 p.m., Larry Cunningham reported that unknown person(s) damaged the paint and cracked the windshield on his Dodge Caravan while it was parked at the Heritage Green apartments on Lewis Street.

July 31

Theft/Receiving Stolen Property: At 12:22 p.m., Taryn Rheinscheld, of 914 Willard St., reported someone had taken her credit card without her permission. Travis Mossbarger was later found to have used the credit card to make purchases and crash withdraws. Charges were filed.
