Pat Brinkman, Fayette County OSU Extension Director and Family Consumer Science Educator, and Sarah Sowell, Program Assistant SNAP-ED, taught a fun and interesting program about the importance of fruits and vegetables at Jeffersonville Branch Library recently. Those that attended were able to do an experiment involving red cabbage, vinegar, grape juice and baking soda, which proved to be very enlightening as well as creating a blueberry and banana smoothie, cole slaw and a toasty pizza.
