Locals graduate from University of Findlay

More than 1,100 graduates were recognized for earning degrees from the University of Findlay for the academic year 2016-2017.

Students earning doctoral, master’s, bachelor’s or associate degrees were invited to walk in the university’s commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 6.

Local students include:

– James Burge, of Jamestown, received the following: bachelor of science in health studies

– Wesley Larrick, of Washington Court House, received the following: doctor of pharmacy.

– Barbara Sears, of South Solon, received the following: bachelor of science in health science.

The University of Findlay is one of the largest private colleges in northwest Ohio. With a total enrollment of more than 4,000 students, the University of Findlay has nearly 80 programs including bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs.
