According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

May 25

Theft: At 8:25 a.m., John New reported that sometime overnight, unknown person(s) removed his red 1994 BMW from where it was parked on Willard Street.

Theft: At 10 a.m., Steve Sword reported that sometime over the past few days, unknown person(s) removed the license plate off a trailer parked at the rear of Watson’s Office Supply on West Court Street.

Theft: At 8:19 p.m., Kyle Campbell reported that unknown person(s) removed his Predator vape from a residence on Broadway Street without his knowledge or permission.

May 24

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle: At 5:31 p.m., Lloyd Luikart reported that a known male removed a vehicle from his car lot without his permission. The vehicle and male were located a short time later. The vehicle was returned to the owner and the male identified as Alexander Luikart was charged with the offense.

Theft: At 10:21 p.m., officers had contact with a male who was riding a bicycle after dark with no lights in an alley near the 600 block of South Fayette Street. During the contact, the male, who was in possession of a small pepper plant, admitted that he had removed the item from Kroger without paying for it. The male, identified as Troy R. Baker, was charged with the offense.
