Denison earns scholarship from Wilmington College

Bloomingburg resident Trevor B. Denison, of Dickey Road northeast, has been accepted for admission to Wilmington College for the 2017 fall semester and is awarded the Academic Achievement Scholarship in the amount of $10,500.

Denison, who plans to major in business, will graduate in 2017 from Miami Trace High School. His main activities/honors include: MT Marching Panther Pride Band, pep, jazz and symphonic bands, student government, Key Club and honor roll.

He is the son of Mark D. and Gretchen M. Denison of Bloomingburg.

Other types of scholarships are available from the college. Wilmington College is an independent college in Wilmington, Ohio, with a hallmark for hands-on learning opportunities. Founded in 1870 by Quakers, WC hosts 1,100 students at its main campus and another 200 at two satellite locations in Cincinnati. The college competes in 20 sports as a member of NCAA D-III and the Ohio Athletic Conference.
