Washington Police Department Incidents

According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

March 18

Inducing Panic/Possession of Drug Abuse Instrument: At 9:30 a.m., officers responded to the 700 block of East Paint Street in reference to a possible drug overdose. A male identified as William C. Harmon was found inside the residence unresponsive, and was treated on the scene by EMS. Harmon was transported to Fayette ER for further treatment. Harmon was charged with the listed offenses for items located inside the residence.

Assault: At 2:39 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Blackstone Street in reference to an assault complaint. Officers made contact with Scylar L. Johnson, who advised that he was assaulted by a male identified as Brandon L. Everhart while in Everhart’s residence. Due to visual signs of assault on Johnson, Everhart was arrested and charged with the listed offense.

March 17

Theft: At 2:45 p.m., Cody D. Pollard reported that sometime between March 10 and the time of the report, person(s) unknown stole four firearms from his residence in the 1200 block of Farmington Lane.

Theft: At 3:35 p.m., CVS Pharmacy reported a shoplifter inside the business. Officers located a male matching the description from surveillance video. A male identified as Joshua O. Stump was found with unpaid merchandise. Stump was charged with the listed offense.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Aggravated Possession of Drugs: At 9:42 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Delaware Street near Campbell Street for an equipment violation. The operator of the vehicle was found to be driving under suspension and had an active arrest warrant. While taking inventory of the vehicle prior to it being towed, officers located a prescription pill container with several grams of a white substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. The operator identified as Justin M. Wilson was arrested and charged with the listed offenses.
