The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce has made its annual scholarship applications available to the seniors of Washington Court House City Schools, Miami Trace Local Schools and Fayette Christian School.

The organization plans to award at least five scholarships valued at $750 each. Applications and a list of requirements are available at the school guidance offices and must be returned to their respective guidance offices no later than April 1.

Chamber president Whitney Gentry said the scholarships are an annual tradition with the chamber. “Every fall we have our annual golf outing and the proceeds from that event are used to provide scholarships to our local youth,” she said. “It’s the chamber members and community supporters that make these scholarships possible.”
