Boy Scout Troop 112 to hold Marzetti Dinner

0

Boy Scout Troop 112 is having a Marzetti Dinner at the First Presbyterian Church in Washington Court House on Saturday, March 4 from 4-7 p.m.

The price is $7. You will receive Marzetti, green beans, bread sticks, a dessert and drink. The proceeds will go toward the boys’ summer camp.

This year, the boys are going back to Wisconsin at Bear Paw Scout Camp. This is the camp they call home. They will have swimming, canoeing, shooting, and all kinds of merit badges to work on. The meals are good and there is plenty of food at the camp.

Some of the events the boys are working on right now are first aid skills, lashings (which has to do with rope), and talking about a spring Camporee that is coming up in the beginning of May. It will be at Camp Oval outside of Circleville. This is just a weekend camp-out.

Summer camp is a week-long camp. The scouts will leave on a Saturday early and arrive back a week later on a very late Saturday night or very early Sunday morning.

Hope you can come out and support the boys for their camp and have some great food and some good fellowship. We also will do carry-out dinners for those who want to take a meal home. Hope to see a lot there.

Those with questions should call Joyellen Pickelheimer at 740-606-9396.
