According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Feb. 21

Aggravated Menacing: At 9:11 a.m., officers responded to an address in the 100 block of West Ohio Avenue in reference to a domestic complaint. Officers made contact with the victim, who advised that her son made verbal threats to inflict serious injury to person(s) in the residence. The male, identified as Marco A. Forsythe, was charged with the listed offense.

Breaking & Entering/Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments: At 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of West Circle Avenue in reference to a burglary in process. Officers located a male inside a garage at the residence. The male was placed under arrest and drug paraphernalia was located in the offender’s possession. The male, identified as Steven J. Garufi, was charged with the listed offenses.

Unauthorized Use of Property: At 10:57 a.m., officers made contact with a male in the lobby of the police department in reference to a background check. The male was found to have unauthorized possession of a badge belonging to the State of Ohio. The male, identified as Kent N. Litteral, was charged with the listed offense.

Theft/Tampering with Evidence/Receiving Stolen Property/Complicity to Theft/Weapons Under Disability/Improper Handling Firearms in Motor Vehicle: At 3:05 p.m., officers responded to Aldi in reference to a theft complaint and located a male at Walmart matching the description obtained by officers. While investigating the incident, the male attempted to discard a wallet. The male was taken into custody. The male, identified as Darren L. Williams, was subsequently charged with the listed offenses. A female involved was not located at the scene.

Disorderly Conduct: At 8:56 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Solid Rock Boulevard in reference to a domestic complaint. Both involved parties were found to be intoxicated. The subjects, identified as Amber Tigue and Andrew J. McCoy, were arrested and charged with the listed offense.

Feb. 20

Larceny: At 6:30 p.m., Tyler D. Miller reported that unknown person(s) removed a Stihl chainsaw from his unlocked vehicle.
