Dr. Milton Allen conducts MT Symphonic Band

0

The Miami Trace Symphonic Band was honored to have a guest conductor with them recently. Dr. Milton Allen is a former director of bands at Eastern Illinois University and the Ohio State University, as well as a veteran school teacher. Currently, Dr. Allen is a free-lance guest conductor, traveling all over the country and world working with students of various levels.

After working with our group, Dr. Allen will be flying to Rwanda for a three-week stint teaching music to impoverished youth. He also holds the distinction of being the only civilian asked to tour regularly with the USAF band. His non-profit music organization is called the Music Guerrilla.
