In Saturday’s edition of the Record-Herald, reporter Martin Graham, “Marti the News Guy,” wrote a story about the city and county purchasing the land formerly known as the golf course. The land was purchased for $400,000 and the current agenda for the land is to develop it into a public park with the Fayette County Park District.
