Interested in earning a GED? Southern State Community College is planning informational open house events at its GED prep site locations throughout February and March.
The Adult Opportunity Center at Southern State offers classes in basic academic skills, GED preparation, and college readiness. Classes are free and materials are furnished. The programs are offered free to any individual who is at least 16 years of age (those under the age of 19 have additional requirements). All books and materials are provided, and no fees are charged for instruction.
Those interested in participating are encouraged to visit one of the Open House events below or by contacting SSCC’s Adult Opportunity Center at 1-800-628-7722, ext. 2687.
