WCH begins Christmas celebration

The Record-Herald Citizen of the Year, Debra Grover, was part of the 2016 Christmas Parade Sunday in Washington C.H. Grover, a core intervention teacher at Miami Trace Elementary School, was nominated by co-worker Amy Ford and the rest of the school’s fifth grade team. Carroll Halliday Ford donated the truck and Carroll Halliday employee Daryl Saunders drove.

The Washington Court House Blue Lion High School Marching Band performed along Court Street during the 2016 Christmas Parade on Sunday.

The Miami Trace Panthers High School Marching Band paraded Sunday for the residents of Washington C.H.

Outside of the city building, carriage rides were being held for residents to enjoy a tour of downtown.

Ariel Marie Graham visited the Washington C.H. City Building before the parade Sunday to sit with Santa Claus during her first holiday season.

The Bible Baptist Temple entertained the crowd with music performed by special guest puppets.
