According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Nov. 20

Breaking & Entering: At 7:32 a.m., the staff of the Second Baptist Church at 828 Columbus Ave. reported that someone overnight broke into the church and stole several items from the church office.

Nov. 18

Theft: At 6:25 a.m., Aaron Knisley reported that sometime overnight, unknown person(s) removed Christmas decorations from his yard.

Theft: At 11:06 a.m., Shirley Garringer reported that sometime overnight, unknown person(s) removed Christmas lights from her front yard.

Theft: At 12:12 p.m., an employee of Petland reported that an unknown female placed a white ferret in her purse and departed the store without paying for the animal.

Possession of Drugs/Drug Paraphernalia: At 2:27 p.m., officers were dispatched to Eyman Park near the softball fields in reference to an unresponsive male in a vehicle. Upon arrival of officers, they contacted the male in the vehicle and located drug paraphernalia and illegal drugs. The male identified as Frank A. Davis was arrested for the listed offenses.

Nov. 16

Theft: At 10:11 a.m., Wesley Tackett reported that unknown person(s) removed property from his storage unit located in the basement of the Lofts on Main.

Burglary: At 4:45 p.m., Dalton Davis and Brittany Rosenberger reported that unknown person(s) entered their apartment at the Lofts on Main and removed property.

Criminal Damaging: At 7:36 p.m., Michael Gates reported that a known male damaged property and broke a window at a residence in the 300 block of Carolyn Road. The male identified as Shawn M. Dyke was arrested for the offense.
