A wonderful dinner reception was recently held honoring 60 years of marriage for Parmer Wesley and Valetta Ann Cox.

The couple was married and have remained side by side since Oct. 6, 1956.

They were married in the beautiful historical United Methodist Church of Washington Court House, which burned shortly after their wedding.

The Rev. Alexander officiated the marriage with friends of the bride and groom attendants, Richard and Nancy Tescher at their side.

A reception was held immediately after the wedding at the home of the parents of the bride, Mac and Marie Dews.

The recent celebration was a day of memories, tears, pride and reflection, with their four children and spouses, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
