All veterans are encouraged to attend even if they are not a member of the American Legion. The cost to non-veterans is $7. The buffet breakfast will be served from 8 to 10 a.m. For information please call 740-335-4990.

The veterans service officer, Amy Jackson, will also be in attendance. As a representative of the veterans service center, she will be able to answer any questions about the rights of veterans. Jackson will also be able to instruct veterans of the benefits that are available to them.

The benefits available include financial assistance. This includes help with rent (to avoid eviction) and help with utilities (to avoid shut off). The office will also offer V.A. Claims assistance (for service-connected disability), transportation for medical treatment and food assistance.
