Vendors named for Wednesday Farmers’ Market

As the end of the 2016 Market season rapidly approaches, please note that the Wednesday venue ends on Oct. 26, the Wednesday after October 22, the last Saturday Market.

The following is a list of vendors who expect to be at the market this afternoon. Other vendors may be in attendance also. The Wednesday edition of the Fayette County Farmers’ Market is located at 1650 Columbus Ave. (TSC parking lot) in Washington C.H. and operates from 4 to 7 p.m. This location also accepts charge/debit cards and SNAP EBT cards. SNAP EBT recipients will again be eligible to earn up to $10 in Veggie SNAP produce BOGO bucks on their purchases.

Jones Farm Fresh Produce (Jon and Taylor Jones): red potatoes, butter beans, red onions, zucchini, yellow squash, peppers, tomatoes, pumpkins, and gourds. Stock your freezer before winter! We have chorizo and sweet Italian chicken links, chicken breasts, wings and whole chickens.

B.Y.E. Gardens (Brian and Elaine Yoder): sweet potatoes, spaghetti squash, butternut squash, candy onions, bell peppers, homegrown popcorn, decorative corn, wing gourds, local honey, baked goods, hand crocheted sashay scarves and “scrunchies.”

Chilcote Farms (Marlene Chilcote): local honey, caramels and cookies. Straw by the bale and half-bale.

Forgotten Way Farm (Cathy Ludi): THERAPEUTIC GRADE essential oils, homemade lye soap, lip balms, bath salts, laundry soaps and wooden signs (new fall items). Your favorite soap scents are back in stock!

Mary’s This ‘n That (Mary Ford): apple butter bread, pineapple banana bread, peanut butter fudge, flax crackers, catnip toys, dog sweaters, new seasonal goose dresses, fabric coasters and mug rugs.

Persinger Produce & Cottage Food (David Persinger): jams/jellies, apple butter and no added sugar apple butter, peach butter and cherry butter, and Texas sheet cakes.
