Hubbard cast in ‘Guys & Dolls’

Timothy Hubbard of Sabina has been cast in Heidelberg University’s upcoming production of the romantic musical comedy, “Guys & Dolls.”

Hubbard, a sophomore majoring in theatre and accounting, will play the role of Nicely-Nicely Johnson.

“Guys & Dolls,” which premiered in the mid-’50s, is based on a story and characters by Damon Runyon with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and the book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. Heidelberg’s production will be staged in Gundlach Theatre on Oct. 13-16. Vicki McClurkin is the director, Dr. Greg Ramsdell is the musical director and Pam Shirtz is the choreographer.
