The Carnegie Public Library is pleased to announce the purchase of an art print, to be dedicated to former library director Poppy Girton. The print features a poppy flower, and will hang above the fireplace in the library. Poppy served Carnegie Public Library for more than 25 years, and was a lifelong resident of Fayette County. Individuals and organizations wishing to contribute to the purchase of this memorial may do so at the library, during normal business hours. Details about the art print are also available.

Carnegie Public Library and Jeffersonville Public Library offered nearly 50 free programs, for residents of all ages, in July alone! From Book Club and Storytime; to “Creepy Lab” and Gardening: There was something educational and fun for everyone, at your local library!
