Carnegie Reader of the Week

0

The Carnegie Public Library Reader of the Week is Spider-Man.

We’ve noticed you are spending a great deal of time hanging out at the library. Why?

The Summer Reading Program theme is “Superheroes Read” and well, I am a Superhero and I do like to read! Besides, the kids love me at Carnegie!

How many books have you read this summer?

I’m going for the “Super Reader” prize and I’m already up to 100 books!

How did you get a library card? Do you have a driver’s license?

I don’t have a license because I don’t drive! I use my web slinging to get where I need to go. Besides, everyone knows me, I’m Spider-Man! Other Superheroes and Super Readers? They need a photo ID to get a library card. Once you have a library card, be sure to bring it with you when you visit. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility!

What does your “spider sense” tell you about what programs are coming up next at the library?

They make it so easy at the library; I don’t even need to use my “spider sense.” Check online at www.cplwcho.org, call the library at 740-335-2540, ext. 3, or pick up a newsletter in the Children’s Dept. Take a tip from your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man: Reading is a superpower!
