The United Way has a motto of “Living United.” Do you know someone who “Lives United” by serving others, serving our community, sacrificing to put others first? The United Way of Fayette County is now accepting nominations for our 2017 Hometown Hero celebration. Now is the time to recognize and thank those individuals who are serving this community and making Fayette County a great place to live. The United Way is again honored to host this event and hope you will take the time to nominate an individual who deserves a thank you for what they do for our community. Stop by the United Way office, located at 101 E. East St., or the Record-Herald, located at 757 W. Elm St. to pick up a nomination form. You can also download the form from the website, www.unitedwayfayco.com. Deadline for nominations is July 28.
