FHS Pet of the Week

Meet Morticia, an 11-week-old domestic-short-haired kitten. Animal care staff describes Morticia as very scared. She needs someone who wants a challenge as she seems a bit wild. Morticia is very loving once she is being held and purrs, and is young enough to be tamed. She has been spayed, vaccinated for FVRCPC, de-wormed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, flea treated, and micro-chipped. Please consider opening up your heart and home to Morticia. If interested, please call 740-335-8126 or visit with her at the humane society’s adoption center. The Fayette Humane Society is in desperate need of scoop-able cat litter and patte canned cat food. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. The downtown adoption center is located on the corner of South Main Street and East Street (use East Street entrance). Remember that there are thousands of homeless animals in shelters waiting to be adopted. If considering adding a furry friend to the family, please adopt, and don’t shop.
