Harry and Sue (Waldren) Pollock will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house in their honor on Aug. 10 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Rusty Keg, Crown Room Banquet Hall, 1801 Columbus Ave. in Washington Court House.
The Pollocks were married on Aug. 17, 1969 at Antioch (Kelly) Christian Union Church, with the Rev. Hester Shoemaker officiating.
Harry is a retired auto mechanic and was employed by several local dealerships as well as owner of Harry’s Garage. Sue attended the University of Rio Grande and was an elementary teacher until they decided to start a family. She worked at K-Mart until her retirement in 2009, at which time she became a substitute educational aide until 2016.
Harry and Sue have three daughters, Linda, Mary (Brad) Haymond and Esther. They have been blessed with a granddaughter, Ashley. Please join them on their day of celebration. Your presence is the best gift we could hope to receive.
