Jones-Foster reunion held July 8

The 150th Jones-Foster Reunion was held Saturday, July 8 at the Fayette County Commission on Aging, 1179 S. Elm St. in Washington C.H.

Throughout the years, the descendants of the Jones and Foster families have held an annual reunion to celebrate, reunite and praise God for all the blessings that have been bestowed upon them.

Family and friends in attendance were from Arizona, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Virginia and Washington DC. In addition to food and fellowship, activities included a raffle, contests, door prizes, an auction and various games. On Sunday, July 9, the fellowship was continued by many at the Second Baptist Church, 828 Columbus Ave., with Pastor Sanders, Rev. Hudson and Rev. Rickman feeding the souls of those in attendance followed by a meal at a local restaurant.
