Ungar joins FCMH Medical and Surgical Associates

Fayette County Memorial Hospital (FCMH) is pleased to announce the addition of Christine Ungar, certified nurse practitioner. She joins FCMH’s Medical and Surgical Associates care team and will be working in the Same Day Care and YUSA clinics.

Ungar received both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in family practice. Her nursing career has encompassed over 22 years of experience in a variety of health care settings, including hospital, schools, family practices, urgent and emergency care.

She enjoys caring for all ages and her special interests are hepatology and hepatitis. “I am honored to be a part of the medical community serving Washington Court House and the greater Fayette County. I enjoy the opportunity to practice in a close knit rural community where family and medicine serve as a partnership for the betterment of community health. I aspire to carry out the hospital’s mission and vision in my day to day provision of patient-centered care,” said Ungar.

Fayette County Memorial Hospital is a critical access hospital (25-bed hospital) with over 30 healthcare providers, complete with a full spectrum of healthcare services.
