The Fayette County Memorial Hospital (FCMH) is pleased to partner with Walk with a Doc (WWAD) and the Ohio Hospital Association (OHA) to bring a monthly walking program to Fayette County.
The kick-off walk will take place on Saturday, April 9 at 8 a.m. at the Fayette County YMCA. The walk will take place around the reservoir. In case of inclement weather, the location will be moved to the YMCA indoor track. Future walks will be held on the second Saturday of each month at the same time and location. Mark your calendars to attend on May 14, June 11, July 9, Aug. 13, Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10.
Dr. Marta Gryniuk, FCMH Physician of Internal Medicine, will be the leader of the walks. She will begin each walk with a short discussion on a health topic and answer your questions. The program is free and open to all ages. Dr. Robert Pickering (Pulmonologist) and Dr. Emily Johnson (Family Medicine) will be guest physicians in future walks.
