Refresh your wellness this spring with challenge

0

The 2019 Spring Wellness Challenge, “Live Simply, Live Well: Refresh your Wellness This Spring,” is a free six week online email challenge designed to help participants improve their health by encouraging ways to add regular movement, mindfulness techniques and healthy eating into your lifestyle.

Participants will learn ways to simplify their schedules and to embrace positivity. Is it time to de-clutter? Watch for strategies and tips for this springtime organization routine.

Those who sign up will receive two weekly e-communications from Ohio State University Extension containing research based nutrition, health and fitness information. Additional tracking logs will be available for download to help participants document their progress. A pre- and post-assessment online survey will be used to gather comments to improve future challenges and track members’ progress. All collected data will be kept confidential.

Participants will learn about adding more vegetables and fruits to their diet, finding more ways to move, trying new recipes, de-cluttering your home and schedule, choosing local foods, reducing screen time, increasing joy and positivity.

Ninety-nine percent of the participants in past challenges recommend the challenges. Interested in joining this online challenge? Follow this link to sign-up on line: http://go.osu.edu/FayetteSP19. You’ll be enrolled and begin receiving e-communications around April 4. The challenge lasts from April 8 to May 20.
