Denim & Diamonds event April 8 will offset costs for cancer patients in Fayette County

The 12th-annual Denim & Diamonds fundraiser will be held Saturday, April 8 to help offset the costs of medical care for cancer patients in Fayette County.

The Fayette County Cancer Support Fund (formerly known as Phi Beta Psi Sorority) will be hosting the fundraising event at the Jason Langley Realty back room (formerly known as the Fayette Theater) at 133 S. Fayette St. in Washington Court House. The event will be held from 6 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.

Denim & Diamonds is sponsored by Parrett Insurance, Halliday Lumber and Vermeer Heartland.

Tickets are $75 and can be purchased at Trends until April 3.

“As Denim & Diamonds is always a fun event for a great cause, the committee is looking forward to changing things up a bit this year with the venue, band etc. The committee is looking forward to having a great turnout – be sure to buy your tickets at Trends today!” said Chelsie Hornsby, director of business development at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

Some of the evening festivities will consist of a four course meal, raffle prizes, silent auction items and The Billy Rock Band (70s, 80s and 90s music) to wrap up the evening.

Proceeds from this event are for cancer patients in Fayette County to assist them in paying for medical bills, transportation, prescriptions and other necessary items. To become a member of The Fayette County Cancer Support Fund, please email: [email protected]
