The Washington Lady Blue Lions and Miami Trace Lady Panthers tennis teams finally got to play their second head-to-head match of the season on Thursday, Oct. 4 at Gardner Park.
Washington won the match, five courts to zero.
At first singles, Megan Downing defeated Anita Pursell, 6-0, 6-1.
At second singles, Jen Richards beat Bayley Thompson, 6-4, 7-5.
Brooklyn Foose won at third singles over Cameron Bucher, 6-0, 6-1.
At first doubles, Sydnie Hall and Bethany Wilt beat Haiven Pepper and Kyliegh Slone, 6-3, 6-2.
Brynne Frederick and Payton Maddux won the second doubles court over Beth Hogsett and Hannah Clemons, 6-4, 6-1.
1st Doubles Sydnie Hall/Bethany Wilt: 6-3, 6-2
