The Miami Trace Lady Panthers hosted Frontier Athletic Conference rivals Chillicothe on a very hot Thursday, Aug. 29.
Miami Trace took an early 1-0 lead, but after that, Chillicothe scored five goals to take the victory, 5-1.
Sophomore Elyse Day scored for Miami Trace less than one minute into the match.
Chillicothe led 3-1 at the half.
Miami Trace is now 1-2 overall, 0-2 in the FAC.
Chillicothe is 2-0 in the FAC, 2-1 overall.
Miami Trace is scheduled to host Waverly Saturday at 3 p.m. and then visit Madison Plains Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 5:30 p.m.
