At Tuesday’s meeting, the Washington Court House Rotary Club welcomed its student speakers — MacKenzie Cory of Miami Trace and Grace Bailey of Washington High School.
The guest speaker, from Oakwood Rotary Club, was Dr. Jill Waters, who spoke on the history of polio, and where we stand with its eradication. Dr. Waters also announced that she is currently looking for fellow Rotarians to join her on an 11-day vaccination trip to India (set for 2024), to help educate, and administer the polio vaccine.
Rotarian George Smith provided the club with an update on supplies and staffing for this year’s Lemon Shake-up stand at the Scarecrow Festival in downtown Washington Court House.
The club closed with the 4-way test.
