WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — A police investigation into possible drug trafficking resulted in the arrest of two individuals Sunday and the confiscation of drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia.

At approximately 7 p.m., the Washington C.H. Police Department’s Special Response Team (SRT), along with members of the patrol division and Criminal Investigations Unit, executed a search warrant at 726 S. North St.

“The investigation was initiated after the police department received several complaints of suspicious activity at that residence,” said WCH Police Lt. Derek Pfeifer.

According to the Washington C.H. Police Facebook page, officers located over $400, 20-plus grams of narcotics, miscellaneous illegal pills, and an abundance of drug paraphernalia.

Shawn A. Bock, 39, and a 24-year-old female were located inside the house when the search warrant was executed, according to police.

Bock was taken into custody and charged with second-degree felony trafficking in drugs and fourth-degree misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The female was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant from an outside agency.

Bock is being held in the Fayette County Jail on a $25,250 bond.

Additional charges are pending at this time.
