There will be a spaghetti dinner, hosted by the Blue Lion baseball parents, from 4 until 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10.
It will be an open house style dine-in or carry out at The Gathering Place Church, 240 Courthouse Parkway. We will have the baseball players serving and assisting our guests (like the old fish fry days).
Tickets must be purchased by Friday, Feb. 3 in order for us to be prepared and to purchase meal items in advance.
Adult tickets are $12 and kids meals are $8. All meals include a generous portion of spaghetti with homemade meat sauce “Nana’s Spaghetti”, a salad, desert, bread and drink.
Again, there will be the option to carry out but the presale of the ticket still applies.
The varsity baseball team, reigning District Champs, will be traveling to Orlando, Florida to scrimmage nationwide competition starting with the London Badgers from Canada on March 14, Cheshire Academy from Connecticut on March 15 and Upper Moreland from Pennsylvania on March 16.
There will also be a silent auction that will include some autographed sports memorabilia and Cincinnati Reds tickets.
All proceeds made from the dinner will go directly towards the funding for the trip.
