MT boys bowling beats Blue Lions, wins LeElla Lanes Baker Bash

On Jan. 19, the Miami Trace Panthers boys bowling team faced the Washington Blue Lions.

Miami Trace was led by Jake Manbevers with games of 267 and 222.

Bryce Stuckey had games of 233 and 207; Brendan Major rolled a 207 and a 202 and Jonah Goddard had a 203 game.

“It was a tough battle, as always,” Miami Trace head coach Ron Amore Sr. said. “But, Miami Trace came out the victor.”

On Saturday, Jan. 21, Miami Trace bowled in the LeElla Lanes Baker Bash, qualifying as the top see and winning the Baker Bash first match play match.

In the final match, Miami Trace defeated Hillsboro in two straight games in the best of three format.

On Thursday, Jan. 26, the Panthers met Jackson in the final regular Frontier Athletic Conference match.

Jake Manbevers rolled a 258; Bryce Stuckey had a 243 game; Jonah Goddard had a 225 and Brendan Major had a 205.

In the end, the Panthers came away with the victory over the Jackson Ironmen.

The Miami Trace teams will be in action on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Chillicothe for the FAC year-end tournament.
