The score remained 2-1 for about half of the second half, before a foul was called on the Lady Tigers inside the goalie box, resulting in a penalty kick.
This sent freshman Hailey Webster to the line, who drilled the ball into the top left corner of the net to tie the game at two.

That drought ended with 3:09 remaining in the contest, as Griffith outran the Waverly defense and knocked one past the Lady Tigers goalkeeper to regain the lead for the Lady Panthers.
