Scarecrow Festival Queen Pageant open to locals

It’s time for the Scarecrow Festival Queen Pageant. The pageant is open to current high school students in Fayette County as well as 2020-2021 graduates.

Applications can be picked up in the school offices, City of Washington Court House building, or online at visitfayco.com/media/3bzd2itk/scf-pageant-application.pdf

Applications are due Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Formal pageant judging will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 6:30 p.m., Champions Grill at the Greens Golf Course. At the end of the pageant, the top three contestants will be announced. The 2022 Scarecrow Festival Queen and her attendants will be presented at the opening ceremony of the festival on Friday, Sept. 16 at noon.

Make plans now to attend the Scarecrow Festival, Sept. 16-18 in downtown Washington Court House. Come enjoy amusement rides, craft vendors, food vendors, carnival games, live music, 5K & 10K run and so much more.
