According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

July 18

Counterfeiting/Passing Bad Checks/Theft: At 1:23 p.m., employees of Merchants National Bank reported that a male cashed a fraudulent check at the business. The male has been identified and charges are pending.

Theft: At 4:03 p.m., Jerry Bar, of South Hinde Street, reported that he located tools that had been stolen out of his garage at Cashland. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
