According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:
June 28
Theft: At 8:19 a.m., employees of Fast Track Auctions on Lakeview Avenue reported the theft of an aluminum loading ramp.
Criminal Simulation: At 11:21 a.m., employees of the BMV on East Street reported a customer used a counterfeit bill to make a purchase. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Obstructing Official Business: At 4:11 p.m., Jacob Stolzenburg, of Maple Street, was arrested after he lied to officers about the whereabouts of a juvenile who was reported missing.
Aggravated Menacing: At 5:27 p.m., Alexander Luikart, of Affordable Auto Sales on West Court Street, reported that he was threatened by a known male. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
June 27
Protection Order Violation/Telecommunications Harassment: At 8:17 a.m., a woman reported that she received a phone call from a person who she currently has a protection order in effect with. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
Theft: At 10:03 a.m., officers responded to Rock-A-Bye Early Learning Center on Leesburg Avenue in reference to the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked on the lot.
Theft: At 11:32 a.m., officers responded to John Hinderer on Columbus Avenue in reference to a diesel particulate filter being stolen from a vehicle parked on the lot.
June 24
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Possession of Drugs: At 8:33 p.m. while on a traffic stop, officers utilized the department’s K-9 and received a positive indication on the vehicle. Amanda Hawke, of Jeffersonville, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected drugs. Charges were filed.
June 23
Telecommunications Harassment: At 1:29 p.m., Joshua Maddux, of Carolyn Road, reported that he was receiving harassing phone calls from a known female. Contact was made with the female, Samantha Kesler, of John Street, who made a counter complaint. Both were advised to stop calling each other.
Forgery: At 1:48 p.m., employees of Tractor Supply Company reported that an unknown person used a counterfeit $100 bill to make a purchase.
Disorderly Conduct/Possession of Drugs: At 4:42 p.m., officers were dispatched to Dollar General on Columbus Avenue in reference to two males who appeared to be under the influence and unable to care for themselves. Upon arrival, contact was made with Hubert Green, of New Holland, and Aaron Wilson, at large. Both appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. Green was arrested for disorderly conduct as he could not care for himself. Wilson was arrested on an active warrant. After being arrested, suspected drugs were located on Wilson. Charges are pending once results are received from BCI.
Criminal Damaging: At 7:05 p.m., Taylor Gift, of Lakeview Avenue, reported damage to a window at his residence.
Possession of Drugs: At 8:26 p.m. while at the emergency room on an unrelated complaint, officers observed Amber Frederick, of Forest Street. Frederick was arrested on an active warrant out of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. After being arrested, suspected drugs were located in Frederick’s purse. Charges are pending once results are received from BCI.
