Police Incidents

According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

June 15

Criminal Damaging: At 7:33 a.m., Marvin Jones, of Millwood Avenue, reported that sometime overnight, an unknown vehicle backed into his yard and became temporarily stuck, causing damage to his yard.

Assault: At 11:41 a.m., a West Kennedy Avenue resident reported that she was assaulted by a known female. The alleged victim was referred to the city solicitor for the filing of charges.

Theft: At 2:18 p.m., Robert Wilson, of North Main Street, reported that a package that was delivered to his residence was stolen by an unknown offender.

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 6:34 p.m. after responding to a complaint of a male and a female slumped over in a vehicle, officers had contact with Donna Lancen and Jeremy Wilson, both of Sabina. After speaking with both, syringes and drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. Several other suspected drugs were also located. Both were arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia. More charges are pending after the suspected drugs are identified.

June 14

Disorderly Conduct: At 8:57 p.m., officers responded to East Elm Street in reference to a male laying in a yard. After making contact, Aleksandr Poznyak, of Reynoldsburg, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Criminal Damaging/Obstructing Official Business: At 9:55 p.m., officers responded to Depot Drive in reference to a welfare check. Officers were advised that William Moore Jr., of Hillsboro, had been threatening and assaulting a female at the residence. Upon arrival, Moore was seen exiting a vehicle and ran from officers. Moore then ran to an apartment and forced the door open, causing damage. Charges were filed.

June 9

Trafficking in Drugs: At 5:30 p.m. while on a traffic stop, officers located a large amount of suspected cocaine. Meranda Gilbert and Moriah Leisure, both of Temple Street, were arrested and charged with trafficking in drugs.
