On Wednesday evening, the Washington Blue Lions baseball team won the Division II District Championship 3-0 over Sheridan.

The victory gave the Blue Lions their first district championship since 2007.

Washington C.H. will play in the regional semifinals at Teays Valley High School on Thursday, June 2 at 5 p.m. against Columbus Bishop Hartley.
