Police Incidents

According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Jan. 19

Theft: At 9:31 a.m., Cassidy Anderson, of Washington Avenue, reported the theft of jewelry from her residence. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Criminal Damaging: At 7:27 p.m., Dana Freese, of Comfort Lane, reported that a window had been pried open at her residence. Entry was not made into the residence.

Jan. 18

Domestic Violence: At 3:07 p.m., officers were dispatched to Jenni Lane in reference to a domestic disturbance. Officers spoke with a male who made a voluntary claim of domestic violence and had visible injuries. Matthew Groves, of Jenni Lane, was arrested in the incident.

Criminal Trespass: At 3:51 p.m., officers responded to Kroger in reference to a male at the store who had been previously banned. James Trisdale, of Forest Street, was arrested in the incident.

Theft of a Motor Vehicle: At 3:57 p.m., officers responded to Kenskill Avenue in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim, Keith Blade, advised his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot while he was working. The investigation is ongoing.

Jan. 17

Domestic Violence by Threats: At 1:05 p.m., officers responded to Gibbs Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. The female victim advised that her son had made threats to cause injury or death to her. Marky Bellar, of Gibbs Avenue, was arrested in the incident.

Domestic Violence: At 7:53 p.m., officers met with a female in the lobby of the police department and she made a complaint that her juvenile child was assaulted by his father during visitation. Shawn Carter, of South Fayette Street, was arrested in the incident.
